About the Author

Carol Krueger received a DMA in Choral Conducting from the University of Miami and has taught in public schools as well as in higher education. Dr. Krueger is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Valdosta State University where she oversees the choral program and serves as the Associate Conductor to the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra.

An active clinician and guest conductor, Dr. Krueger is widely recognized for her work with music literacy and has presented interest sessions at the American Choral Directors National Convention in New York,the OAKE (Kodaly) National Convention in Charlotte, the ACDA Southern Division Conventions in Nashville and Louisville, the Southern Division MENC Convention in Charleston, the North Central Division ACDA in Madison, the Eastern Division ACDA in Providence, the Eastern Division NAfME in Hartford, as well as interest sessions and workshops throughout the United States.
