Lucy Wells
Commissioning Editor for Science

Telephone: 01865 354854

Lucy commissions and develops resources to support teaching and learning in the biosciences and chemistry, and would welcome ideas for new textbooks and digital learning tools across the undergraduate science curriculum. Her areas of responsibility include biomedical science, biology, chemistry, and study and professional skills in the sciences. She would be delighted to hear from educators with ideas for new publishing in these areas, and particularly those with an active interest in the enhancement of learning through the use of evidence-based pedagogical approaches.

A graduate of Durham University, Lucy joined OUP in 2012 after starting her publishing career as an editorial assistant at Wiley-Blackwell in the health sciences team. Her first role at OUP was as an assistant editor on the life sciences research and graduate textbook list before moving to the Higher Education team in 2016.
