Katie Staal - Senior Portfolio Manager

Katie is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Higher Education Science list. Katie commissions materials to support teaching and learning across the biosciences and chemistry undergraduate curriculum. Katie would be delighted to discuss ideas for new content and resources in these areas, particularly those which foreground diverse voices and consider inclusive perspectives, explore pedagogical and teaching innovation, and enhance the student experience. She also welcomes feedback on existing publishing, and thoughts on how OUP could support evolving teaching and learning needs in her subject areas.

Katie joined OUP in 2018 from Palgrave Macmillan, working on materials for politics and international relations students in the Higher Education department before moving to her current role in 2022.
