Jon manages OUP UK Higher Education's textbook programme across the natural and social sciences, spanning business and management; economics, accounting, and finance; politics; psychology; and science. He also continues to commission resources to support bioscience and chemistry teaching and learning, and would be delighted to hear from educators with ideas for new publishing in these areas - and particularly those with an active interest in the enhancement of learning through the use of evidence-based pedagogical approaches. 

A biochemistry graduate, Jon joined OUP in May 2000, having cut his publishing teeth in an editorial assistant role at Thomas Nelson, where he worked on their post-16 science list. Prior to moving into his current role in June 2014, Jon was primarily responsible for commissioning textbooks across the sciences, with some time spent also managing our undergraduate medicine, dentistry, and nursing programmes.
