Helen Swann |
Helen manages the HE law and criminology editorial team. She also oversees the following subject areas: legal skills and legal system (and related), contract law, tort law, EU law, land law, competition law, jurisprudence, employment law, media law, environmental law, the Blackstone’s Statutes series, and criminology and criminal justice. Helen is editorial lead for the forthcoming Principles to Practice series, OUP’s response to the SQE (and practice-influenced teaching more generally) at undergraduate level. Helen is keen to hear from lecturers with ideas for new publishing, both textbooks and other types of teaching and learning resources. She would also be delighted to receive feedback on existing publishing and thoughts on how OUP could support evolving teaching and learning needs. Helen joined OUP in 2007, moving into a commissioning role in 2011, and taking up her Editorial Manager post in 2021. Before this, she did stints in university administration and producing educational resources for an international children’s charity. |
