The Higher Education Psychology Teacher of the Year award is open to all employed psychology teachers in the UK higher education sector.
The competition aims:
- To provide national recognition and reward for commitment to psychology teaching for individuals in the UK higher education sector
- To raise the status of teaching in psychology as a scholarly activity
- To support individuals in reflecting upon and enhancing their professional practice in support of student learning
- To develop case studies of effective and/or innovative student learning and disseminate these nationally to enhance psychology student learning experiences across the UK
The winner of the Higher Education Psychology Teacher of the Year Award receives a personal prize of £1,500, a year of free membership to DARTP, and £250 worth of OUP books.
