In March, we sent out a survey, asking students and academics for help with choosing the perfect cover design for Principles of Psychology: Contemporary Perspectives.
As a result of the response to our survey, we can reveal that 'face painting' is the cover of choice for this new textbook. We hope you will be as pleased with it as we and the authors are.
Here are some of the positive comments received about 'face painting':
"I like the simplicity."
"It’s fun but still seems to fit with psychology."
"The painted face represents the many different colours of society."
"It's eye-catching, bold, simple, makes a clear statement."
"Distinct from many other covers out there."
"Stylish, well-targeted and engaging."
"Simple and effective."
"Clean, fresh, universally welcoming."
"Contextual, fresh and appropriate."
"Represents the complexities of an individual's psychology."
"A quality and 'big book' look."
