Vanessa Parson, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, University of Sunderland

Vanessa Parson is Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sunderland, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Vanessa has been a programme leader and personal academic tutor for many years and works on university-wide teaching and learning initiatives alongside teaching across a wide range of subjects at all levels, specialising in perception and attention, the psychology of learning, the psychology of belief, and cyberpsychology. She is the author of Study and Communication Skills for Psychology (Oxford University Press, 2012, 2018) and has published several articles focussing on teaching and learning.
