Description

Multivariable Calculus is an introductory textbook in the field of multivariable calculus, which utilises interactive 3D graphing software to develop students' understanding.

  • The main text is supplemented by the innovative use of fully interactive three-dimensional graphics throughout to develop student intuition
  • Gentle introduction helps students transition easily into using three-dimensions
  • Concepts are introduced early and revisited often for maximum retention and understanding
  • Both computational and conceptual exercises are provided to develop understanding

Reviews

"[the book] covers the basic topics of calculus with functions of several variables with an original presentation that insists more on calculus and geometric interpretations than on theoretical details. It will certainly be very useful for students and for anyone looking for a first introduction to multivariable calculus. Reading it is a pleasure." - Julià Cufí, zbMath
