Economics Student Panel

To apply, please complete our form and return it to economicsrep@oup.com

We will aim to let you know our decision within 5 working days of receiving your application. Please note that the panel is only open to students studying in the UK.

What is the OUP economics student panel?

Our economic student panel is made up of students from the UK currently studying for economics-related degrees. We're currently recruiting for new panel members studying economics at university to input on the development of new textbooks in this area. If you're interested, read on to find out more about what you'll be asked to do and how you can redeem points to spend on OUP books.

Why does OUP have a economics student panel?

OUP publishes a wide range of student-focused economics textbooks, and we are keen to ensure that our textbooks meet student needs. The student panel allows us to gather honest and detailed feedback and opinions on our products from current economics students, ensuring new titles and new editions are the best they can be.

Get involved!

You will be contacted, mainly via email, and expected to:

  • Complete online surveys that cover a range of topics, including cover design and text layout
  • Give honest and detailed feedback to questions
  • Review and offer opinions on new publishing ideas, sample chapters, and more!

In addition you may be invited to attend a focus group with students from other universities.

Earn points and enjoy your reward!

Each task that you complete will earn you between £20 and £50 worth of credits. The number of credits will vary depending on the complexity and time it will take to complete a task. Credits can be used to purchase OUP books, which means that you don't have to spend your own money on textbooks.

The more tasks you complete, the more credits you earn, and the more books you can order!
