The NHS Litigation Authority
The NHSLA is a Special Health Authority (part of the British National Health Service), responsible for handling negligence claims made against NHS bodies in England. Their web site has an section on advice for clinicians, as well as information for patients.

The National Patient Safety Agency
The NPSA is an ‘arms length’ agency of the UK Department of Health, with a remit to improve patient safety by reporting and enabling the NHS to learn from safety incidents. Their website includes links to a range of reports on medication and surgical safety etc.
