Christine and Jill came from a background of health visiting and nursery education. They worked together for many years, training students to work with young children and wrote twelve books encompassing all areas of the childcare curriculum.
Heidi Sheppard has worked with children from birth to 16 years in a range of settings including day and residential schools for children with learning difficulties and special educational needs. She has worked as a lecturer, NVQ assessor and internal verifier. Heidi is a qualified learning coach. She currently works at an educational trust as training school programme manager.
Miranda is a freelance writer, trainer, consultant and speaker, specialising in aspects of playwork and early years. She ran her own nursery and has written regularly for Nursery World. She has also been an Early Years Ofsted inspector. Miranda has written a wide variety of books and electronic resources and is Series Editor of the Practical Guide and Good Practice series.
