The Assessment Manager is the teacher's gateway to managing classes and homework. To access the Assessment Manager, click on Assessment Manager at the top of the screen after you have logged in to MyMaths, and enter your teacher login details.
The Assessment Manager consists of three main sections: Allocation, Results and Admin.
The Allocation tab is where you can set tasks and activities for students.
The Results tab shows how the students have done on their homework and any additional tasks they have completed.
The Admin tab is used to create classes and students, and manage existing students.
As MyMaths is a fully online resource you will need nothing but an Internet connection and an up-to-date web browser with inbuilt Flash, or a recent version of Flash installed on your computer. Please note, we are working on a solution that will allow us to move away from Flash-based content. You can find the latest information here.
MyMaths will continue to work in older internet browsers but in order to get the best possible learning experience, you will need to upgrade to a more recent version. MyMaths will support the following browsers during this academic year:
You can use the Curriculum Selector tool to display MyMaths resources in accordance with your chosen curriculum. The Curriculum Selector can be found on the left hand side of your screen when you first log in to MyMaths. Simply select your curriculum from the drop-down menu. This will display the resources that support that curriculum, together with relevant information about years or grades.
In addition to using this tool when browsing the Library, you can also use it within the Allocation and Results areas of the Assessment Manager when you set tasks and view students' progress.
If you would like to set the curriculum view for a specific class, select the class in the Admin section of the Assessment Manager, tick your chosen students and click Set Curriculum. Choose your curriculum and click Confirm.
Alternatively, if you would like to change the view for the whole school, you can do this by clicking Change in the subscription details of the Admin section.
To help with your planning, we have also created some documents to help you map all of the resources to your chosen curriculum. You can download these here:
Over the next few months, various browsers will stop supporting Flash by default. This means that MyMaths content may be blocked by your browser.
If this happens, you simply need to click Activate Adobe Flash to access the MyMaths activity. Click Allow and Remember to ensure that you can always open the activity in this browser.
To prevent this message from appearing, you can either try another browser or adjust your browser Plugin settings in the browser tools. Please talk to your IT department for information on how to do this.
