Log in to the Assessment Manager and go to the Allocation tab. Select the class or classes to which you would like to assign a task and click Set Task.
Use the window that appears to confirm the details of the task you would like to set, and leave a message for your students. Click Set to save the assignment. If you want to set more than one task, click Set and Continue to select another task for your class.
You can see all of the assignments for a class by clicking on the class name within the Allocation tab. Here you can also see how many students have attempted the task, and leave feedback.
If you want to allocate a task to some students but not all, you can also do that from this screen.

Log in to the Assessment Manager and go to the Allocation tab. Select the class or classes to which you would like to assign an activity and click Set activity.
Use the window that appears to type up the details of the activity. If you include a web link, this will appear as a hyperlink. Select the time period in which your students must complete the activity and click Set to set it for your students. Primary pupils will see this in the Homework tab, and Secondary students will see this activity in the My Feed section of their portal.

Log in to the Assessment Manager and go to the Allocation tab. Click through to the appropriate class or student and click Set Task.
In the window that appears, select your curriculum and then your chosen Booster Pack from the drop-down menus. Then select All worksheets. You can leave a message for your students in this area too. Click Set to save the assignment.
If you want to allocate a Booster Pack to some students but not all, you can also do that from this screen.

Go to the Allocation tab of the Assessment Manager and click through to the appropriate class. Click on the task in the Task or activity column, or the date in the Due column.
In the window that appears, click on the calendar in the To: field of the Select dates section. Select the new date and click Update to save the changes.
To give an extension for a task or activity to one or more students rather than a whole class, go to the Allocation tab of the Assessment Manager and click through to the class to which your students belong. Click on the task in the Task or activity column, or the date in the Due column.
In the window that appears, tick the box next to Student name to deselect all the students in the class. Tick the box next to the names of the students to which you would like to give an extension. Click on the calendar in the To: field of the Select dates section, select the new deadline and click Update to save the changes.
You will then see two versions of the task on the class screen, one with the new deadline for your chosen group of students, and one with the original deadline for everyone else.
You can monitor homework within the Allocation tab of the Assessment Manager. Select your class and look at the Completed column in the class screen.
Within this column, there will be a button next to each task, indicating how many students have completed the homework. Click on this button to see a break down of the number of attempts, the results and the rating each student has given the task. You can also update marks yourself in this area should you need to.

You can view a summary of this in the Allocation tab. Click the Outstanding work tab in the top left of the Class screen to view an overview of your class' outstanding work.
You can download this data as a spreadsheet to share at parents' evening by clicking Download Spreadsheet.
Yes. If a student is only in one class, all of their allocations will appear on the individual allocation screen. You can access this by clicking on the student's name from the list on the left hand side of the class allocation screen. Here you will be able to see an overview of the work that they have been set and see any outstanding work.
If a student is in more than one class, you will need to view their allocations for each class in turn.
It is not possible to edit the number of attempts.
You can delete tasks in the Allocation screen to keep your list under control. The results for these tasks will still be available in the Results screen. Deselect Only show allocated work on the left hand side to see them.
