My Portal is your personal area on MyMaths, where you can complete homework, view your results and see feedback from your teacher.

After logging in to your school MyMaths account, you can log in to My Portal from the top right of the screen using your personal username and password. If you don't know what these are, please talk to your teacher.

You can see all the homework your teacher has set you in the My Homework tab. Clicking on My Feed gives you notifications about all the activity on your account, including recent achievements, new work that has been set, and any messages and feedback from your teacher. Remember to check this area regularly! To see your results, click on My Results.

You can view lessons and attempt homework before logging in to My Portal from the MyMaths Library, but any results will not be saved. If you want to complete extra work that has not been set, it is still best to log in to My Portal so that your results are saved for you and your teacher.

When you first log in to My Portal, you will see a list of all the homework that your teacher has set you. If you click on one of the tasks, you will be given the option to open the lesson or go straight to the homework.

If you would like to go through the topic again before attempting the homework, open the lesson. Once you feel confident, open the homework.

Each homework has two question pages. You can move between the pages using the buttons on the left. Once you have answered all the questions on a page, click on Mark it. MyMaths will mark your work instantly and give you a result. when you have finished the last page of questions and clicked Mark it, a window will appear asking you to check out. Click the Checkout tab on the left hand side to see a summary of your scores.

If you would like to attempt the task again click Next. You can attempt each homework as many times as you like and only your best score for each page of questions will be recorded.

MyiMaths is completely online, so all you need is an Internet connection and a web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome.

To ensure that it works correctly, you should check that you have updated your web browser (for Internet Explorer please make sure it is version 11 or above) and that you have installed an up-to-date version of Flash.

It is our aim to make MyiMaths accessible via tablets, and our work to move away from Flash based content will allow us to do this. In the meantime for the most seamless experience we recommend using MyiMaths using a desktop PC or laptop.

Over the last few months, various browsers have stopped supporting Flash by default. This means that some MyiMaths content may be blocked by your browser. To ensure that MyiMaths is able to run correctly on your computer, please ensure that you have Flash installed and enabled in your browser settings. Please visit the link below for a step-by-step guide on enabling Flash:

If after following the step-by-step guide you are still experiencing issues, please contact us and state what browser and version you are using and include a screenshot of any error messages you are receiving.

We are working on a solution that will allow us to move away from Flash-based content. You can find the latest information here.
