Kerboodle Support Resources FAQs

Use the folder structure on the left-hand side of the screen. Clicking on one of these folders will filter the number of items in the main list to help you find the one you are looking for.

Alternatively, you can use the Search bar, and/or choose an option from the ‘Advanced’ menu to the right of the Search button.

If you can't find what you're looking for, check that you are in the right module by using the tabs at the top of the screen.

You can create links within the Resources module in Kerboodle to specific pieces of content, or collection of items, so that students don’t have to navigate the menus to find them.

Note: you can only share content that is marked as being visible to students.

  • Select the course and click on the Resources module.
  • Select the content you wish to share using the checkboxes next to each item. You can select more than one item.
  • Click Share Content above the contents list.
  • Kerboodle will generate a URL. Click on this URL to highlight it and use Ctrl+C to copy the URL.
  • Paste the URL into an email or other messaging system to share with your students.
  • When a student clicks the link, they will be prompted to log in to their Kerboodle account.
  • The student will be taken directly to the content.

To add your own resources, click on Upload at the top left of your screen in the Resources module. Browse to find the file on your computer or network. Choose a folder in which to place your item, or create a new folder.

You can find your own content by clicking on the My Plan filter in the Lessons module, My Resources filter in the Resources module and My Assignment Content in the Assessment module.

If you want to make any changes, select the item using the tickbox, and click Preview above the list of content. Change the item’s information in the Preview pane that comes up.

Please note: you cannot add items that are over 5MB in size.

You can load files with the following extensions to Kerboodle:

In your Kerboodle course you will see a column named Visible to students. If there is a tick next to the resources, this means that your students will be able to see this content when they log in.

If you wish to hide certain resources, tick the box to the left of the content and click Preview. A preview pane will then appear to the right of your screen. Make sure that the Visible to students tickbox is unticked and click Save changes.

The content will now no longer be visible to students.
