The first academic study using a 'Singapore' textbook programme in the UK

According to the latest PISA and TIMSS studies, Singapore consistently tops the world rankings for maths. The majority of state primary schools in Singapore use the My Pals Are Here! textbook, which has been renamed Inspire Maths in the UK.

An independent study into the impact of Inspire Maths shows that a mastery in maths textbook programme can significantly benefit UK schools:

  • By using Inspire Maths, children made significantly more progress
  • The programme boosted children's confidence and engagement
  • Teachers' subject knowledge improved
