Free events to introduce the Numicon approach

Discover how you can make confident judgements about the progress of your children and save hours in planning, assessment and curriculum design with Numicon.

During this session we will:

  1. Show how the Numicon programme fits together and can be used as a whole-school programme, or support your existing resources, in teaching:
    a. Whole classes aged 4-11
    b. Catch-up groups
    c. SEND & Intervention sessions
  2. Demonstrate the online support available for Numicon
  3. Introduce the pedagogy behind the Numicon programme, including the C-P-A approach

What is Numicon?
Based on the proven concrete-pictorial-abstract approach, Numicon encourages children to explore maths using structured imagery and apparatus in order to understand and explain mathematical concepts.

All attendees will receive with a free sample lesson to take back and try in their school.

Who should attend: Head Teachers, Senior Leaders, Maths Subject Leaders
