Shahed Ahmed is the headteacher at Elmhurst Primary School, a large outstanding school in London.
He is a national leader of education and a member of the Commission on Assessment Without Levels. Shahed was part of the Department for Education advisory group for the 2014 National Curriculum and was also involved in the development of the phonics screening check.
