Lorraine Petersen is a former teacher and head teacher with over 25 years’ experience in education, and many years’ experience of working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in both mainstream and specialist settings.
Appointed to CEO of nasen in 2004, Lorraine is committed to helping professionals working in the SEN sector. In June 2009 Lorraine was awarded the OBE for services to education.
