The Reeve & McIntyre Big Up Bookshops Tour
Join the Reeve & McIntyre Big Up Bookshops tour celebrating booksellers across the UK and Ireland to get a week of Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre uniquely bigging up your bookshop on their blogs and social media. One bookshop can even win a bookshop visit from this storytelling double act!
Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre have long been passionate champions of bookshops. They’ve dedicated their fourth Roly-Poly Flying Pony book, Kevin vs The Unicorns, publishing in September 2021, to 'all the hard-working booksellers who have soldiered on through the pandemic’ and will be spending the summer highlighting the work of booksellers in the ‘Reeve & McIntyre Big Up Bookshops’ blog tour.
From May to September they will be showcasing a bookshop every week for 14 weeks - featuring interviews with you on their blogs, bigging you up on social media, driving people to buy books from you, and helping to celebrate bookshops.
How it works
They'll feature an interview from one bookshop from the regions below on the tour, and every featured bookshop will receive:
- A week of social media promotion from Philip and Sarah
- Entry into a prize draw to win a Reeve and McIntyre event on Bookshop Day (9th October)
- A Roly-Poly Flying Pony POS pack
- An ‘I was visited by Kevin’ certificate and pin badges
- A photo of Kevin ‘visiting’ your bookshop
Taking part is super simple - click on the link below to answer their bookshop questions and send us your favourite photo of the front of your bookshop by 13th May.
One bookshop will be selected for each region. We will let each of the bookshops to be featured on the tour know their allocated week shortly after the 13th May.
