Dr. Rigoberto Hernandez is the Gompf Family Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University as of July 2016, and remains as the Director of the Open Chemistry Collaborative in Diversity Equity (OXIDE) since 2011. Before Hopkins, he was a Professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech, and Co-Director of the Center for Computational Molecular Science and Technology he co-founded. He holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from Princeton University (1989), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley (1993). Dr. Stallings is the Research & Program Manager for the Open Chemistry Collaborative in Diversity Equity (OXIDE) and has served in that role since 2015. Before joining OXIDE, he served as an Assistant Professor of chemistry at Georgia Southern University (2006-2012) and as and Assistant Professor/Chemistry Program Coordinator at Atlanta Metropolitan State College (2013-2015). He holds a B.S. in Chemistry
degree from Georgia Southern University (2002) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama (2006). Manager of the Open Chemistry Collaborative in Diversity Equity (OXIDE) since 2015. Before joining OXIDE, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Delhi University (2003)/Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (2005), a M.S. at University of North Carolina, Charlotte (2007) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology and Materials Science from the Cornell University (2014).
