Thomas Hutton is a Professor in the Centre for Human Settlements, School of Community and Regional Planning, University of British Columbia.
Larry S. Bourne is professor emeritus and interim director of the new Cities Centre at the University of Toronto.
Richard Shearmur is a researching professor at INRS Centre Urbanisation Culture Societe at the University of Quebec at Montreal, and is the Canada Research Chair in Spatial Statistics and Public Policy.
Jim Simmons has been studying the spatial structure of commercial activity for forty years, as graduate student at the University of Chicago, then as professor at the University of Toronto, and now as senior research Fellow with the Centre for the Study of Commercial Activity.
