Oxford University Press Announces Ebook Partnership with Universidad de Chile
Released on July 29, 2016
Oxford University Press (OUP) announced it is partnering with the Law faculty of the Universidad de Chile on behalf of the institution in an agreement for the delivery of scholarly monographic content via Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO), which is hosted on the University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO) platform, to all students and faculty.
The agreement, which marks the first collaboration between Universidad de Chile and Oxford University Press, provides unlimited access to more than 12,000 titles over a vast array of subjects, including law, humanities, social sciences, sciences, and medicine. This content is available to every student and faculty member at the Universidad de Chile via the OSO platform. Universidad de Chile is the second institution in Latin America and Chile to subscribe to an evidence-based acquisition model with Oxford University Press.
"We are proud to partner with Universidad de Chile on the purchase of high quality, peer-reviewed content available through Oxford's University Press Scholarship Online platform," said Lenny Allen, Director of Institutional Accounts for Oxford University Press. "This is our first OSO collaboration with this prestigious institution and we look forward to working with them to ensure that all faculty, students, and researchers are aware of the tremendous benefits provided by the platform and the breadth and depth of the research now available to them."
Additionally, the Universidad de Chile has also purchased access to Oxford Handbooks Online (OHO), which contains scholarly review articles that provide an in-depth overview of the field and authoritative guidance.
