The LMS Monograph Series is a series of hardback books published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the London Mathematical Society. The Series will contain authoritative accounts of current research in mathematics and high quality expository works bringing the reader to the frontiers of research. Of particular interest are topics that have developed rapidly in the past ten years or so, but which have reached a certain level of maturity. Clarity of exposition is important and each book should contain preliminary material to make the topic accessible to those commencing work in this area.
The Editors welcome enquiries from prospective authors. Proposals should include the following: a statement of the aims and objectives of the book, and the intended readership; some notes on how the book relates to existing texts; and estimate of intended length, a contents list; and one or two draft chapters.
