The topic of international law and domestic legal orders has risen in prominence since the end of the Cold War. The last decades have witnessed a tremendous increase in international agreements on various subjects, impacting on domestic law and proving to be relevant to domestic litigation. These changes mean that domestic courts have the potential to make a greater contribution to the application and development of international law. This series analyses and examines these trends, looking at questions of international law and domestic legal orders from a variety of perspectives.
