Social media as a doctor: professional use, personal use, or not at all?

As a medical student, you may be wondering how you should present yourself online when you become a doctor. It can be difficult to know how to use social media, and as doctors we have been given mixed messages. You might use social media solely in a professional or personal capacity, or a mix of the two, switching personas across different sites.
