Will Todd's flagship work is the jazz mass setting Mass in Blue, which has been performed over 100 times around the world since its 2003 premiere. His anthem The Call of Wisdom was commissioned by St Paul's Cathedral for the Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Service in June 2012.

Other notable works include opera The Blackened Man — a prizewinner in the International Verdi Opera Competition; oratorio Saint Cuthbert which has been recorded by the Hallé Orchestra; and music theatre work The Screams of Kitty Genovese, produced most recently by Tête à Tête Opera in London and Edinburgh. His new Alice in Wonderland opera for Opera Holland Park premiered in July 2013.

Will Todd is in demand both as a composer and as a performer and workshop leader. His Will Todd Trio has performed Mass in Blue around the country and recorded several CDs, and he is increasingly busy leading singing workshops with a variety of choirs across the UK.
