LGBTQ+ Resources from OUP

2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Deemed one of the first events in the modern movement for LGBTQ+ rights in the United States, it helped launched a series of civil actions by countless individuals, protests against discrimination and violence, and conversations about equal rights and inclusive treatment.

Over the course of this modern movement, the field of LGBTQ+ studies emerged, focused on gender identity, societal perceptions, historical events, and political issues impacting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals and communities.

Browse a curated selection of LGBTQ+ titles and articles below. For more in depth materials, explore Social & Cultural History and Mental Health & Relationships.
