Shane S. Bush, Ph.D. is in independent practice on Long Island, NY. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, School of Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook; Associate Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Neuropsychology, Touro College School of Health Sciences; and Instructor of Professional Ethics and Neuropsychology, National Academy of Neuropsychology DistanCE program. He is board certified in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is board certified in neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, Division of Neuropsychology, and is a fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He is an editorial board member of The Clinical Neuropsychologist, Applied Neuropsychology, and Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology. He is coeditor of Ethical Issues in Clinical Neuropsychology, editor of A Casebook of Ethical Challenges in Neuropsychology, coauthor of Health Care Ethics for Psychologists: A Casebook, coauthor of Ethical Practice in Forensic Psychology: A Systematic Model for Decision Making, and coeditor of Geriatric Neuropsychology: Practice Essentials. He has authored and coauthored articles, chapters, and position papers on ethical and professional issues and has presented on ethical issues at national conferences.
