Clinical Strategy
These documents are helpful practice strategies and suggestions that are not official policy of some professional organization. (e.g., Intake Interviewing with Suicidal Patients). Such documents have high utility, but do not necessarily have any official stamps of organizational approval.

Forms and Figures
These items include two types of charts or figures. The first are materials supplement the materials provided in the associated chapter (e.g., clinical forms useful in planning alcohol and substance abuse treatment). The second are materials reproduced from the text (e.g., the body mass index table) that psychologists might wish to print out for office use.

These items are official policy documents of the American Psychological Association or other organization that represent consensus documents in the field and may have various enforceable elements or carry special legal weight (e.g., Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct or Guidelines for Child Custody Evaluations in Divorce Proceedings)
